Puppy Yoga for Sugar Land: we come to you
Honesty first: our studio is in Houston's Memorial area, about 30 minutes up US-59/I-69 from Sugar Land Town Square. That's a fine drive for a special Saturday, but for most Fort Bend celebrations we flip it: private events at your place. We bring the puppies, mats, and instructor to your home, clubhouse, or venue in Telfair, Riverstone, First Colony, New Territory, Greatwood, or Sienna. (And if you're up for the trip, the August public sessions in Memorial are open to everyone.)

A private event is the full Pawty Yoga formula delivered to your address: a beginner-friendly flow with puppies (8 to 16 weeks old, vaccinated, vet-checked, and temperament-screened, all from vetted ethical local breeders) wandering the mats while everyone melts. Our public sessions run at Fred Astaire Dance Studios, 12649 Memorial Dr Suite G1, in Houston's Memorial area, about 30 minutes from Sugar Land via US-59/I-69 north, then Beltway 8 or the 610 Loop. Next dates: August 8 & 9, 2026. Each session is 75 minutes, $60 per person, four time slots per day, capped at 20 guests so nobody shares a puppy for long. Sugar Land guests tend to make a half-day of it: morning session in Memorial, then back down 59 for lunch at Town Square or a walk along Brazos River Park before the heat peaks. If you'd rather browse than walk, First Colony Mall is on the way home. It's a legitimately good Saturday.

Is there puppy yoga in Sugar Land itself?
Not as a standing studio, no. The closest dedicated puppy yoga venue is our Memorial-area studio in Houston, about 30 minutes up US-59/I-69. What Sugar Land does get is the come-to-you format: we bring puppies, mats, and instructor to your home, clubhouse, or rented venue anywhere in Sugar Land or Missouri City. What kind of venue do I need for a private event?
Anywhere with enough flat floor for 10 to 25 yoga mats and a way to keep puppies safely contained: a fenced yard, an enclosed patio, or a room with closing doors. Sugar Land's community amenity centers are ideal, the clubhouses in Telfair, Riverstone, New Territory, and Greatwood all have rentable rooms that fit the format perfectly. We bring everything else.
How much does a private event cost?

Can you do a quinceañera or a school fundraiser?
Both, and both are strong fits for Fort Bend. Puppy yoga makes a memorable quinceañera activity block between the ceremony and the party. For schools, we run a fundraiser program where 20% of every ticket sold through your PTA's custom code goes back to the school, several Fort Bend ISD parent groups have asked about it.
I'm closer to Katy. Should I look there instead?

Are the puppies safe and screened?
Yes. Every puppy is 8 to 16 weeks old, vaccinated on an age-appropriate schedule, vet-checked, and temperament-screened before it ever joins a session. All puppies come from vetted ethical local breeders. We also bring a release form for guests and can share a sample ahead of your event.
