Puppy Yoga for Kingwood & Humble: we come to you
Honesty first: Kingwood and Humble sit about 40 minutes northeast of our Memorial studio, up US-59 and around Beltway 8, and that is a real commitment for a public class. So for Kingwood, Humble, Atascocita, Fall Creek, Eagle Springs, Summerwood, and Walden on Lake Houston we lead with private events, we bring the puppies, mats, and instructor to your home, neighborhood clubhouse, or lake-house backyard, from $900 for up to 20 guests, all ages. (And if you don't mind the drive, the Aug 8 & 9 public sessions in Memorial are open to anyone.)
Why Kingwood & Humble families book us
Kingwood earned its nickname, the Livable Forest, honestly. It is one of the most heavily wooded master-planned communities in Texas, with more than 75 miles of the Kingwood Greenbelt trail system threading through the pines and dozens of villages, from Kings Crossing and Kings Point on the older side to Fall Creek, Eagle Springs, and Summerwood spreading east toward Lake Houston. Most of those neighborhoods come with a clubhouse, a pool pavilion, or a rec room, and just about every home comes with the kind of shaded backyard that a private puppy yoga event is built for.
Weekends up here already have a rhythm: a trail walk or picnic at Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center, a paddle or a fishing morning on Lake Houston, a loop around East End Park, a shopping run to Kingwood Town Center or over to Deerbrook Mall in Humble. Puppy yoga slides into that lineup as the thing nobody in the group has done yet: a 75-minute beginner-friendly flow with 8-to-16-week-old puppies wandering the mats, every one of them vaccinated, vet-checked, temperament-screened, and sourced from vetted ethical local breeders. Guests spend half the class in poses and half taking photos, and that is exactly the point.
Because the Lake Houston side is about 40 minutes from our Memorial studio, we have flipped the model for the whole northeast quadrant: instead of asking 20 people to make that drive twice in a day, we load the van and come to you. One inquiry through our private events page and we handle the rest.
What a private event in Kingwood or Humble looks like
Same Pawty Yoga formula as our public classes, just hosted at your venue: from $900 covering up to 20 guests, all ages welcome, puppies, mats, instructor, and cleanup included. Tell us the date, headcount, and location at the inquiry form and you will have a quote within 24 hours. The four formats Kingwood and Humble ask for most:
Kid birthday parties
The number one Kingwood request. A shaded backyard in Eagle Springs or a clubhouse in Summerwood, puppies for an hour, then cake. All ages at private events. See puppy yoga birthday parties.
Bridal & baby showers
Showers in Kings Point living rooms, Fall Creek clubhouses, and covered patios along Lake Houston. Puppies photograph better than any backdrop wall, and the candids become the favors.
Lake-house & backyard events
Walden on Lake Houston and Atascocita are made for it: a big deck, a fenced yard, and a group ready to unwind. We set up in the shade and bring every mat and puppy pen.
Humble ISD PTA fundraisers
The PTA sells the spots, we run the session, and 20% of ticket sales go back to the PTA. Gyms, cafeterias, and clubhouses all work. Details on puppy yoga fundraisers.
Venue tip: Kingwood and Humble neighborhood clubhouses are easy hosts. Most amenity centers rent to residents for a small fee, and a clubhouse floor fits 10 to 25 mats with room for the puppy pen. A covered patio works too, welcome to the Livable Forest.
Prefer to drive to us? The public sessions
If a public class is more your speed, the Aug 8 & 9, 2026 sessions at our Memorial-area studio (Fred Astaire Dance Studios, 12649 Memorial Dr Suite G1) are open to everyone. From Kingwood or Humble it is roughly 40 minutes southwest, down US-59 and around Beltway 8, and parking at the studio is free. Sessions are $60 per person, 75 minutes, four time slots each day, capped at 20 guests, and kids 7 and up can join with a participating adult. Book a spot here.
That 40 minutes each way is why most Kingwood and Humble groups end up booking us to come to them instead. If you do make the studio run, turn it into a day: morning session in Memorial, then back northeast for a walk at Jesse H. Jones Park. The drive stops feeling like a drive when there is a puppy photo roll to scroll on the way home.
Drive times from Kingwood & Humble neighborhoods
All routes run southwest via US-59/I-69 to Beltway 8, then over to Memorial Drive. Times assume normal weekend traffic.
Memorial studio address: 12649 Memorial Dr, Suite G1, Houston, TX 77024, Fred Astaire Dance Studios. Free on-site parking. For private events, these drive times are our problem, not yours: we travel to any of these Lake Houston neighborhoods.
Kingwood & Humble questions
Is there puppy yoga in Kingwood itself?
Not a public class, not yet. Our public sessions run at our Memorial-area studio in Houston, about 40 minutes southwest of Kingwood via US-59 and Beltway 8. What Kingwood and Humble get is the come-to-you format: we bring the puppies, mats, and instructor to your home, clubhouse, or venue anywhere in the Lake Houston area. And if a Kingwood venue partner ever wants to host public dates, we are listening, email [email protected].
How much does a private puppy yoga event in Kingwood or Humble cost?
Private events start at $900 and that covers up to 20 guests, puppies, mats, instructor, and setup included. Tell us your date, headcount, and Kingwood or Humble location through the inquiry form and we will send a quote within 24 hours.
What kind of venue do I need in Kingwood or Humble?
Anywhere with enough flat floor for 10 to 25 yoga mats and a way to keep puppies safely contained. Kingwood and Humble make this easy: neighborhood clubhouses and pool pavilions in Kings Crossing, Eagle Springs, Summerwood, and Fall Creek all work, and so does a living room, covered patio, or shaded backyard along Lake Houston. We bring everything else.
Can kids join a Kingwood puppy yoga event?
At private events, all ages are welcome, which is why kid birthdays are our most-requested Kingwood and Humble format. At the public Memorial sessions, kids are welcome from age 7 and up, accompanied by a participating adult.
Can you run a Humble ISD PTA fundraiser?
Yes, and we would love to. The PTA fundraiser format works great: we run the session, your PTA sells the spots, and 20% of ticket sales go back to the PTA. It fits an elementary gym, a cafeteria, or a community clubhouse. Email [email protected] with your Humble ISD school and target date, or read more on the fundraiser page.
I'm near The Woodlands, is there a closer page for me?
Yes. The Woodlands, Spring, and the I-45 north corridor have their own page at puppy yoga for The Woodlands with routes and neighborhood details. Same come-to-you private events, same public Memorial dates.
