Puppy Yoga School Events & PTA Fundraisers in Houston. We bring the puppies to campus.
Skip the wrapping-paper catalog and the cookie-dough order forms. A puppy yoga school event is the rare fundraiser families genuinely want to buy a ticket for, and it doubles as teacher appreciation, an end-of-year celebration, or a field-day highlight. We bring vetted puppies, mats, a certified instructor, and handlers straight to your gym, cafeteria, library, or courtyard. Private school events from $900, covering up to 20 guests, all ages, with a share of proceeds back to your PTA confirmed in your quote.
Why puppy yoga works for schools
Every PTA and PTO knows the problem: the tenth catalog fundraiser of the year raises a little, but nobody is excited, and half the families quietly opt out. The best PTA fundraiser ideas in Houston flip that script by being something the school community actually looks forward to. Puppy yoga does exactly that. It sells itself, it fills the gym, and it turns a fundraiser into the story kids retell for weeks.
It is also more than a money-raiser. A campus visit lands as genuine appreciation for the people who need it most. During testing season, a 45-minute reset with puppies is the kind of calm that helps students and teachers shake off the pressure of STAAR week. For faculty, it is the morale boost that says thank you far better than another jeans-day coupon. And for the whole building, it is a shared moment that pulls kids, families, and staff onto the same floor, laughing together.
Best of all, every ticket comes with a built-in promotion engine. Puppies plus students equals the photos and reels that families tag, share, and repost, spreading the word about your event and your school far past the car-rider line. When the event is this fun, attendance goes up, spots sell out, and your PTA raises real money without begging anyone to buy gift wrap.

Ways schools book us
PTA / PTO fundraiser
Sell spots to your school community and send a share of proceeds back to your PTA, confirmed in your quote. A fresh fundraiser that fills the gym instead of another catalog nobody wants.
Teacher & staff appreciation
The Teacher Appreciation Week gift faculty actually remember. We come to the lounge or library after dismissal so your teachers get an hour that is purely for them.
End-of-year & field-day
A fresh alternative to the same inflatable obstacle course. Rotate classes through back-to-back puppy sessions for an end-of-year celebration kids will talk about all summer.
Reading-incentive reward
Hit the reading-log goal, earn puppy yoga. It is the carrot that gets a whole grade level turning pages, and the reward photos make a great school-newsletter feature.
Spirit night
Trade the restaurant spirit night for a puppy spirit night on campus. Families buy in, kids show up in school colors, and your PTA earns on every ticket.
Volunteer & room-parent thank-you
Room parents and volunteer coordinators keep the whole school running. Reward the people who show up for everyone else with the event everyone else wishes they were at.
How the fundraiser math works
A puppy yoga fundraiser is simple to run and easy to profit from. Here is the shape of it, spelled out plainly, with the exact numbers set with your PTA up front in a written quote.
Every school and PTA budget is different, so the split, ticket price, and headcount are confirmed with you in writing before you commit. Tell us your fundraising goal and we will build a plan that clears the cost and sends money back to your school.
What is included, and how we keep it safe
Schools hold us to a higher bar than a backyard party, and we welcome it. Every booking includes the full experience and every safeguard a campus expects.
School districts we serve across Greater Houston
We bring puppy yoga to campuses all over the Houston metro. Whether your school is intown or out past the Beltway, we come to you. We regularly serve schools in:
- Houston ISD and intown campuses from the Heights to the Museum District
- Katy ISD and the fast-growing communities out west
- Cy-Fair ISD across Cypress and northwest Houston
- Spring Branch ISD in and around the Memorial area
- Fort Bend ISD in Sugar Land and Missouri City
- Klein ISD and the northern suburbs
- Humble ISD and the Kingwood and Atascocita corridor
- Clear Creek ISD down toward League City and the Bay Area
Do not see your district listed? We still likely serve you. Campuses beyond Beltway 8 may include a modest travel fee, always disclosed up front in your quote.
Prefer a lower-cost option? Send families to a public session
Not every school wants to book a full private event. If your budget is tight or you just want to point families toward something fun, our public puppy yoga sessions are $60 per person, with upcoming dates on Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9. Some PTAs reserve a block of spots at a public session and add a set amount per ticket as an easy, low-lift fundraiser. For a dedicated on-campus event with a share of proceeds back to your PTA, the private route below is the bigger earner.
School events & PTA fundraiser FAQ
How does the fundraiser share work for our PTA?
You book a private puppy yoga event and sell spots to your school community. A share of proceeds goes back to your PTA or PTO, confirmed in your quote before you commit. We structure it around your headcount and goal, whether that is a set amount per ticket or a group rate you mark up. Tell us your target and we will lay out the numbers in writing.
Where on campus can you host a puppy yoga event?
We come to you and set up almost anywhere with floor space: a gym, cafeteria, library, multipurpose room, covered pavilion, or courtyard. Roughly one mat per person plus walking room. We bring mats, puppies, handlers, the instructor, and full cleanup, and we leave the space exactly as we found it. If your campus cannot host, we can help you source a nearby venue.
What ages can take part?
Private school events are open to all ages, which makes them great for students, families, teachers, and staff together. Younger children take part with a parent or teacher alongside them. The flow is gentle, and most kids spend more time cuddling puppies than holding poses, which is exactly the point.
How many kids can join each session?
We cap each session so every child gets real puppy time instead of a crowded scrum. The base event covers up to 20 guests; for a whole grade level or a school-wide field-day rotation we run back-to-back sessions across the day. Tell us your total headcount and how you want to rotate classes and we will build the schedule.
How far ahead should we book a school event?
Sooner is better for peak windows. Teacher Appreciation Week (early May), end-of-year weeks, and testing season fill up fast across Houston-area schools, so aim for four to six weeks of lead time, more if you need district or PTA-board approval. We can often accommodate shorter notice, so ask even if your date is close.
Do you carry insurance and can you provide a COI for the school or district?
Yes. Pawty Yoga carries $1M general liability insurance, and we can provide a certificate of insurance naming your school or district as additional insured for facility-use requirements. Just tell us what your campus or district needs on the COI and we will handle the paperwork before your event.
Plan your school event, we reply within one business day
Tell us about your school, your PTA goal, and your target date, and we'll send a tailored plan and quote with a share of proceeds spelled out.
