Corporate Holiday Party Ideas in Houston. Bring the puppies, skip the same old happy hour.
Every December the same question lands on someone's desk: how do we make this year's holiday party feel different? Bring puppies. Pawty Yoga turns your company holiday party, employee appreciation event, or year-end team celebration into the one people talk about in January. Add a Puppy Cuddle Zone to the party you already planned, or book a full puppy yoga event at your office. We handle the puppies, setup, waivers, cleanup, and the certificate of insurance your building will ask for.
Unique company holiday party ideas your team will actually remember
Most office holiday party ideas are variations on the same night: a restaurant buyout, an ugly sweater contest, a white elephant swap, and a bar tab. They are fine. They are also exactly what your team did last year. Puppies change the energy of a room in about five minutes, and they work for every kind of company, from a 15-person office in the Heights to a 200-person floor in the Energy Corridor.
Here are the holiday formats Houston teams book with us most:
- A Cuddle Zone at the holiday party. A drop-in puppy area runs in a side room or corner while the party goes on. Guests wander over between dinner and the gift exchange, and the line to get in is half the fun.
- Puppy yoga before the holiday lunch. Start the afternoon with a beginner-friendly class on the mats, then head to lunch with a room full of people who just laughed together.
- A thank-you afternoon for employee appreciation. Close out the year with a Friday afternoon class as a gift to the team before everyone scatters for the holidays.
- A client appreciation open house. Invite your clients for coffee and puppies in the lobby. It is the rare client event people RSVP yes to on the spot.
- Year-end team building, department by department. Back-to-back classes so every team gets a turn, scheduled around your in-office days.
- The holiday photo everyone wants. A photographer is included free with corporate events, so the team photo for your newsletter, LinkedIn or holiday card has puppies in it.

An inclusive alternative to the usual happy hour
The classic holiday happy hour quietly leaves people out: colleagues who do not drink, parents racing to pickup, the commuter with an hour drive home to Katy or Cypress, and the new hire who does not know anyone yet. A puppy event works at 10 AM or 3 PM, needs no alcohol, and lets everyone join at their own comfort level. Hold a puppy on your mat, sit with one in your lap, or just watch from a chair and laugh.
That is the part HR is really buying. The quiet analyst and the loudest person in sales end up on the floor next to each other, laughing at the same puppy. Colleagues who have only met on video calls finally talk. It is connection without a scoreboard, a skill level, or a drink in hand. If your team wants to keep the whole celebration alcohol-free, see our sober and alcohol-free events.
Two ways to bring puppies to your holiday party
Puppy Cuddle Zone add-on
No class, no mats. A drop-in puppy area that runs during the party you are already hosting, while guests rotate through. Works at your office, a restaurant private room, or an event venue. From $650.
Puppy yoga at your office
We come to you with a certified yoga instructor, a beginner-friendly flow with puppies wandering the mats, and open puppy time at the end. About 24 mats per class. No yoga experience needed.
Back-to-back classes for bigger teams
Two or more classes in a row so the whole office gets a turn, with a photographer included free so every group leaves with photos and video.
Either way, we handle everything: puppies with their breeder, our puppy care crew, mats, music, a photo backdrop, setup and cleanup, an online waiver link for your guests, and $1M general liability insurance with a certificate naming your company or building. How a puppy holiday party works
Office logistics: will it fit in our space?
Room size
An indoor room of about 1,000 square feet fits about 24 mats per class. Large conference rooms, training rooms, cafeterias and open floors all work. A Cuddle Zone needs much less.
Floors and cleanup
Hard floors are ideal, and carpet works with our floor covers. Our crew handles any accident right away and cleans the full area before we leave.
Insurance and paperwork
Fully insured, $1M general liability, with a certificate naming your company or building. Guests sign an online waiver before the event.
Happy, healthy puppies
Puppies from vetted local breeders, about 8 to 16 weeks old, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, with their breeder on site and built-in rest breaks. Read our puppy welfare standard.
We review every space before we confirm, so there are no surprises on party day. We come to offices all over Greater Houston: Downtown, the Galleria, the Energy Corridor, Memorial, River Oaks, The Woodlands, Sugar Land, Katy and Cypress. More on office visits on our puppies in the office page.

Corporate holiday party FAQ
How much does a corporate holiday party with puppies cost in Houston?+
Most corporate events land between $1,800 and $2,800, depending on weekday or weekend, headcount and format. A Puppy Cuddle Zone added to a party you are already hosting starts from $650. A photographer is included free with corporate events. You get one itemized written quote within one business day, and a 50% deposit holds your date.
Can you add puppies to a holiday party we already planned?+
Yes. Our Puppy Cuddle Zone is a drop-in puppy area, no class and no mats, that runs during your party while guests rotate through between food, drinks and the gift exchange. It works at your office, a restaurant private room or an event venue, and starts from $650.
What kind of space does our office need for puppy yoga?+
An indoor room of about 1,000 square feet fits about 24 mats for one class, so a large conference room, training room, cafeteria or open floor usually works. Hard floors are ideal, and carpet works with our floor covers. We review your space before we confirm, and larger teams can run back-to-back classes in the same room.
Are you insured, and can you name our company or building on the certificate?+
Yes. Pawty Yoga carries $1M general liability insurance, and we issue a certificate of insurance naming your company or your building, so you can hand it straight to property management.
What about colleagues who are allergic, nervous, or not dog people?+
Participation is always optional. The puppies stay in a defined area with our puppy care crew, so anyone who prefers distance can watch from a chair or skip it entirely. For allergy concerns, a room with a door works better than an open floor, and we clean the full area before we leave.
Where do the puppies come from?+
Our puppies come from vetted local breeders. They are about 8 to 16 weeks old, healthy and current on age-appropriate vaccinations, and their breeder is on site the whole time. Every event has built-in rest breaks so the puppies stay happy and relaxed.
Do our employees need yoga experience or workout clothes?+
No. Our certified yoga instructor leads a beginner-friendly flow, and plenty of people spend most of the class sitting with a puppy in their lap. Comfortable clothes you can sit on the floor in are all anyone needs.
How far ahead should we book a December holiday party?+
As early as you can. December books up early, so we recommend reaching out as soon as you have a date in mind. A 50% deposit holds your date, and we reply to every inquiry within one business day.
