Three ways to bring puppies to the office
🐶 Puppy therapy visit no yoga
60 to 90 minutes of supervised puppy time, no mats, no instruction. Your team drops in between meetings, in small groups or all at once. The format for wellness weeks, mental health awareness month, tax season, earnings week, and the last push before a launch.
🧘 Puppy yoga team session our signature
A 45-minute beginner-friendly flow with puppies wandering the mats, then 30 to 45 minutes of open puppy time. Nobody needs yoga experience or workout clothes. The format for team building, appreciation days, and offsites. Full corporate puppy yoga details →
🎯 Puppy break inside your event
Already planning an all-hands, holiday party, or offsite at a venue? We slot a 60 to 90 minute puppy window into your agenda, at your venue, and coordinate directly with your venue contact on insurance and load-in.
Why puppies beat the usual Houston team-building list
Every unique team building activity in Houston has a catch. At the escape room, half the team stands in a corner while two people solve it. Happy hour leaves out anyone who does not drink and ends at six. A cooking class tops out at a dozen people and a Topgolf bay at six. Puppies have none of those limits.
- Everyone participates at their own comfort level. Hold a puppy, sit with one on your lap, or watch from the doorway. No skill, no scoreboard, no losing team.
- The room changes in fifteen minutes. The quiet engineer and the loud sales rep end up on the floor next to each other, laughing at the same puppy. That is the outcome HR is buying.
- It is alcohol-free by design. Which makes it inclusive of the whole team, and safe to hold at 10 AM on a Tuesday. More on alcohol-free events →
- The photos post themselves. Internal newsletter, LinkedIn, recruiting page. Puppies are the one team event people ask to be photographed at.
- It fits a workday. A 90-minute window, a conference room, and we are gone before the next meeting.
What office managers and HR ask us first
Building requirements
Most buildings want a certificate of insurance naming the property manager as additional insured. We carry $1,000,000 commercial general liability including animal liability and send the certificate within a business day.
Load-in
Ground floor is easiest. Elevators, parking garages, and upper floors are all fine, we just need to know in advance so we plan the carts and the timing. We arrive about 45 minutes before your start.
Space
About a 6 by 3 foot footprint per mat for a yoga session: a conference room fits 12 to 20, an open floor or gym fits 20 to 30. A therapy visit with no mats needs less, just a defined zone we can keep the puppies inside.
Floors and cleanup
Hard floors are our preference and carpet works with our floor protection. Handlers clean any accident immediately with pet-safe products, and we sanitize the whole area before we leave.
Allergies and nervous colleagues
Participation is optional and the puppies stay in their zone. A conference room with a door beats an open floor for allergy concerns. Most nervous first-timers warm up within ten minutes.
Billing
Purchase order, ACH, or credit card, itemized for finance. Net 30 for established companies, deposit plus balance for first-time bookings.
When Houston companies bring the puppies in
- Employee appreciation week. The event people mention in the engagement survey.
- Wellness month and mental health awareness days. A puppy therapy visit is the wellness program people actually show up for.
- Deadline decompression. Tax season, earnings week, a product launch, end of quarter. Ninety minutes on a Thursday afternoon.
- Onboarding and intern cohorts. The fastest way to get a new group talking to each other.
- Holiday parties and all-hands. A puppy break inside the bigger day, at your office or your venue.
- Offsites and retreats. We come to the venue, coordinate with its contact, and fit your agenda.
- Client appreciation. Invite the clients. Nobody skips this one.
We serve every Houston business district: Downtown, Galleria and Uptown, Greenway Plaza, the Energy Corridor, Westchase, Memorial City, the Medical Center, The Woodlands, Sugar Land, and Katy, and everywhere between within about 60 miles of our Memorial-area base.
Office visit pricing
Office visits start at $1,200 for up to 20 participants at your location, plus $30 per additional participant and travel where it applies. That is one flat, written number: puppies, handlers, mats where used, setup, cleanup, insurance, and the certificate of insurance for your building. Colleagues who only stop by to watch are free and never counted. Every visit includes up to 90 minutes on site, with extra time quoted per hour.
Two alternatives if they fit better. Bring the team to us for a studio buyout, $1,175 flat for an entire class at our Memorial-area studio on a scheduled studio date, all 24 mats included. Or let us book a private venue near the studio on your date, $1,375 for up to 20 participants, venue included.
For context, the national chains that will travel in Houston quote roughly $1,380 to $1,620 per hour for a private booking, plus service and admin fees. Our quote is flat, itemized for finance, and delivered within one business day.
Office puppy visit questions, answered
Can you bring puppies to our office without the yoga?+
Yes. A puppy therapy visit is 60 to 90 minutes of supervised puppy time with no mats and no instruction. Your team drops in, in small groups or all at once, and our handlers manage the puppies, the rotation, and the cleanup. Same vetted puppies, insurance, and certificate of insurance as our yoga sessions.
How much does it cost to bring puppies to an office?+
From $1,200 for up to 20 participants at your location, plus $30 per additional participant and travel where it applies. Spectators are free. A studio buyout at our Memorial-area studio on a scheduled date is $1,175 flat if you would rather come to us.
What will our building or landlord require?+
Usually a certificate of insurance naming the building as additional insured. We carry $1,000,000 commercial general liability including animal liability and issue the certificate within a business day. Tell us the load-in situation and we plan around it.
What about colleagues who are allergic or nervous around dogs?+
Participation is optional and the puppies stay in a defined zone with handlers. A conference room with a closed door works better than an open floor for allergies, and we clean the full area afterward. Most nervous first-timers warm up within ten minutes.
How many people can take part?+
Up to 20 on mats is standard for a yoga session, 30 in a large room. A therapy visit with no mats rotates teams through, so a 60 to 90 minute visit can reach 40 to 60 people.
How do we pay?+
Purchase order, ACH, or credit card, itemized for finance. Net 30 for established companies; deposit plus balance for first-time bookings.
How far ahead should we book?+
2 to 4 weeks for weekday office visits, which are our most flexible dates. Appreciation weeks and holiday parties fill earlier, so book those 4 to 6 weeks out.
