Puppies for parties in Houston. The puppy party, with or without the yoga.
If you searched "rent puppies for a birthday party," the answer is yes. Here is how it works in Houston.
Pawty Yoga brings a litter of vetted 8 to 16 week old puppies, trained handlers, and everything else to your party, or hosts it at our Memorial-area studio. Add a gentle yoga session or skip it and keep it pure puppy time. Birthdays, showers, bachelorettes, quinceañeras, graduations, reunions, all ages welcome. Puppy parties start at $1,175 for an entire class at our studio, or $1,200 for up to 20 participants at your location, quoted in writing within one business day.
You plan your party with DJ, our founder, personally. One point of contact from your first hello to the last puppy cuddle.
Two ways to do a puppy party
Most people find us through puppy yoga, then ask whether the yoga is required. It is not. Pick the format that fits your guests, and everything else stays the same: the same vetted puppies, the same handlers, the same setup and cleanup, the same insurance, and the same candid photos sent to you afterward.
🐶 Puppy play party no yoga
60 to 90 minutes of supervised puppy time. Guests settle onto mats and blankets, handlers rotate the puppies so everyone gets real cuddle time, and the puppies get their rest breaks. Best for younger kids, mixed-age groups, showers where nobody wants to change clothes, and anyone who just wants the puppies.
🧘 Puppy yoga party our signature
A 45-minute beginner-friendly flow with puppies wandering the mats, then 30 to 45 minutes of open puppy time and cake. No experience needed from anyone. The format Houston knows us for, and the one that photographs best.
Not sure which one? Tell us the ages and the occasion in your quote request and we will recommend one. Plenty of parties do a short flow for the adults while the youngest kids play with the puppies on the side.

Why you cannot just rent puppies from anyone
Puppies are not rental equipment, and a company that hands you a crate of puppies for two hours is one to walk away from. Every Pawty Yoga puppy comes from an ethical Houston-area breeder we have vetted in person, and the breeder is on site at your party. Litter mates stay together, which keeps them calm. Our handlers run a rest rotation with fresh water and a quiet retreat space, and we never wake a sleeping puppy. Read our published puppy welfare standard if you want the whole checklist.
What that means for your guests: the same healthy, temperament-screened puppies you would meet at our sold-out public classes, sanitized mats, handlers who show kids how to hold a puppy gently, hand sanitizer at the door, a signed waiver from every adult, and $1,000,000 in liability coverage with a certificate of insurance for any venue that asks.
Puppy party pricing in Houston
Every option is one flat, written number that covers puppies, handlers, mats for every participant, setup, cleanup, insurance, and candid photos. Counts are for participants, meaning guests on a mat. Friends and family who come to watch, like parents at a kid's party, are free and never count.
- Studio buyout, $1,175 flat. An entire class at our Memorial-area studio on a scheduled studio date, all 24 mats included. About $49 a person with a full room.
- Your own indoor space, $1,200 for up to 20 participants. All 20 mats are included whether 10 or 20 people take part, so invite more friends and let the adults join. $30 per participant beyond 20, plus travel based on distance from the studio.
- A private venue we arrange, $1,375 for up to 20 participants. Venue rental included, on your date. $45 per participant beyond 20.
Every party includes up to 90 minutes on site. Groups of 31 or more are custom quoted. For a small group of 4 to 8, the easiest party is often to buy tickets to the same public class at $60 each and sit together.
Puppy party questions, answered
Can you rent puppies for a birthday party in Houston?+
Yes. We bring a litter of vetted 8 to 16 week old puppies, trained handlers, mats, and all supplies to birthday parties across Greater Houston, or host the party at our Memorial-area studio. We say puppy party rather than rental because the puppies come with their breeder and our handlers, on a rest rotation, and are never handed over unsupervised.
Do we have to do yoga?+
No. A puppy play party is 60 to 90 minutes of supervised puppy time with no poses. A puppy yoga party adds a 45-minute beginner-friendly flow before open puppy time. Same puppies, handlers, setup, cleanup, insurance, and photos either way.
How many puppies come?+
Typically 6 to 10 for a group of up to 20 participants, set by the litter and your headcount. Litter mates travel together with their breeder, which keeps them calm and gives everyone real cuddle time.
How much does it cost?+
$1,175 flat for an entire class at our studio on a scheduled date, $1,200 for up to 20 participants at your own indoor space plus travel where it applies, or $1,375 for up to 20 at a private venue we arrange on your date. Written quote within one business day.
What ages can join?+
Private puppy parties are all ages. Kids under 7, who cannot join our public classes, are welcome here, and adults and grandparents can get on a mat too. We ask that infants under one year stay home. Spectators are free.
Can it be outside or in the backyard?+
Indoors and climate controlled is our standard. A covered patio with a hard floor can work case by case. Open grass that other dogs use and pool areas are out for puppy safety, since the puppies' vaccination series is still in progress.
How far ahead should I book?+
3 to 6 weeks is ideal for weekend dates. Studio buyout slots go first come, first served when new studio dates open. Shorter timelines are often possible if your date is flexible.
