Before the party

The party, minute by minute

45 minutes before start: we arrive

Our team unloads mats, blocks, the speaker, the photo backdrop, sanitation supplies, and the puppy rest zone with water and a quiet retreat. The puppies arrive with their breeder, exercised and pottied. You do not lift anything. If we are at our studio, all of this is already done.

0:00 to 0:10: guests arrive

Shoes off, hand sanitizer, and everyone finds a mat. A handler gives a 2-minute gentle-hands talk: how to hold a puppy, how to let a sleeping puppy sleep, where the rest zone is and why it is off limits. Kids listen to this better than adults do.

0:10 to 0:55: the flow, with puppies

A certified instructor leads a gentle beginner-friendly flow tailored to the age of the group. The puppies wander the mats the whole time, which means nobody is really doing yoga and that is the point. The kid who wants every pose gets every pose. The kid who wants to spend 45 minutes with one puppy gets that instead. Handlers rotate puppies so every mat gets visited, and pull any puppy that needs a break.

0:55 to 1:30: open puppy time and photos

The structured part ends and it becomes pure puppy time. Cuddles, group photos at the backdrop, the birthday kid with every puppy at once. Our handlers snap candid shots throughout and send you a shared folder afterward. Phones are welcome the entire time, and a professional photographer is available as an add-on.

1:30: the puppies go home to nap

Ninety minutes is the ceiling for the puppies, so this is when they leave with their breeder. Cake, presents, and the rest of your party happen now, while we break down and sanitize the mat area around you. We leave your space the way we found it.

The puppies

Typically 6 to 10 puppies for a group of up to 20 participants, set by the litter and your headcount. Every puppy is 8 to 16 weeks old, from an ethical breeder we have vetted in person, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, and temperament-screened. Litter mates travel together, which keeps them calm. The breeder is on site, handlers run a rest rotation, and we never wake a sleeping puppy. The full checklist is our puppy welfare standard.

What parents do

Whatever they like. Parents can get on a mat and join, or sit on the sidelines and watch for free. Spectators never count toward your participant total, so a party of 12 kids and 8 parents is still a 12-participant quote if the parents watch, or 20 if they all join. For kids under 7 we ask that at least one parent stays. Tween parties can be drop-off once each guest's parent has signed the waiver.

Cake, food, and decor

We handle the puppy experience end to end. Food, cake, decor, and favors are yours, and the simplest plan is the best one: keep food out of the mat area until the puppies leave, then bring out the cake. Many families add a small photo station with dog-themed props, and a mocktail or lemonade bar for tween parties. If you want a caterer, photographer, or party planner, we are happy to recommend Houston vendors we have worked alongside.

Heat, rain, allergies, and the other things parents ask

After the party

Within a day or two you get a shared folder of candid photos from our handlers. Most families also get a text from another parent asking who did the puppies. That is the whole marketing plan, and we are grateful for it.

What do I need to provide at my house?+

An indoor, climate-controlled space with about 300 square feet of clear floor, and the guests. We bring everything else and handle setup and cleanup. Resident pets in another room, no open grass or pool areas.
