River Oaks has its own rhythm — Pilates with friends on a Tuesday morning, brunch at Bistro Menil, a charity gala on Saturday. Pawty Yoga slots into that rhythm naturally: a 75-minute class that's social, photogenic, beginner-friendly, and finishes with a coffee on Memorial Drive before noon. We've kept group size capped at 20 specifically because larger classes lose the intimacy. Smaller is better.
For private events, River Oaks is one of the easier neighborhoods to host in. We'll bring the puppies, mats, and instructor to a home, garden, or rented space — birthdays, bachelorettes, baby showers, milestone birthdays, school fundraisers. Past private bookings have run from 8-guest birthday brunches to 30-person corporate wellness afternoons.

Beginner-friendly flow
Gentle vinyasa, no pressure to hold anything advanced. Half the class is on the floor playing with puppies anyway.

From ethical breeder partners. Screened and rotated through the room — they wander, doze on mats, and absolutely steal the show.
Professional photos
Included in every session — candid shots of you with the puppies, edited and shared after class.

Can you host a private event at our home or club?
Yes. We've done backyard sessions, indoor sessions in great rooms, and pool-area events. Quote depends on guest count, distance, and whether we provide photography. Email [email protected] with the date, location, and group size.
Is this appropriate for a milestone birthday or bridal shower?
Genuinely yes — those are some of our favorite bookings. The format works because everyone, regardless of yoga background, can do it, and the puppies make for the best group photos you'll have for years.
What's the dress code?
Whatever you'd wear to a normal yoga class. Athleisure, leggings, soft tees. Skip the new white pants — puppies are puppies.
Are the puppies adoptable?
The ethical breeder partners we work with screen prospective families carefully. We're not a placement service ourselves, but we're happy to connect you with our breeder partner if you fall for a puppy during class — and several guests have already taken that leap.
